Registration Closed: Winter information sessions
Updated: Mar 22
Homestead Community Land Trust hosted a series of public information sessions as we prepare to begin selling homes in the Spring of 2021. Willowcrest is a sustainable and affordable neighborhood in Renton that offers first-time homebuyer opportunities for income-qualified households.
With three or four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and garage, Willowcrest homes are ideal for families living and working in Renton.
All homes are priced at or below $315,000. Willowcrest homes will be affordable to households with incomes less than 80% of area median income as determined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the King County area. Two of the homes are more deeply discounted to be affordable to those whose incomes are at or below 60% area median income, and who are experiencing housing instability.
Willowcrest is built to a high environmental standard, with highly energy-efficient systems and construction, and the use of solar panels for onsite energy generation.
Willowcrest is developed in partnership with the Renton Housing Authority, which contributed the land on which the homes are built.
Information sessions were scheduled from December to early March. Registration for these events is now closed.
